Project Leadership: Grant County, Indiana

today: portfolio day.

In the office today we have had lots of fun Project Leadership visitors dropping off Portfolios and Portfolio pages for the Project Leadership Project Portfolio Contest. It is so exciting to receive the completed portolios that mentees have spent many hours working on. The best part of the Portfolio Contest is that its not just another assignment that students won't use again...its the opposite! The portfolios will be very useful for the students to apply for jobs, college, and scholarships. I wish I had a Project Portfolio when I was in High School! It would have been so helpful later when the time came for writing my resume.

Look for pictures later highlighting some of our awesome entries.

Here are the categories for the Project Portoflio:
Dreams
Talents
Leadership
Teamwork
Academic Skills
Resume
Mission Statement
Work Experience
Recognitions

What great topics to invite students to reflect on their success. Holding the Project Portfolio contest is just one way for Project Leadership to encourage mentees in their quest to chase after their dreams.

peace & portfolios,

Katie [PL intern]
